The app, which is available for iOS and Android devices can let you control your fridge from anywhere in the world, and it has a ton of customization options. It will also send you notifications when the door is left unlocked and when the fridge or freezer needs to be defrosted, and when the filter needs to be changed.

It would be nice it GE PYE22PYNFS offered Precise fill which is a feature available in a handful of GE refrigerators that allows users to select how many cups they want to pour out. The fridge displays a countdown timer to show you how much water remains however it's not as helpful as Precise fill.

One of the great features of this refrigerator is that its ice maker is inside the freezer, which makes it easy to transfer frozen ice to the fridge for use when needed. The other issue we have with the door of this refrigerator. They have sunken handles on the front that allow smaller people to pull them open from the bottom, however they're difficult for taller people to guide closed without slamming them. It would have been much better if these had front-mounted handles.

The LG Counter-Depth MAX is a good option for those looking to combine the benefits of a fridge with a French door with an efficient layout. Its capacity is above average for a counter-depth model and it cools well and has a nice layout. It's also less expensive than the best counter depth refrigerator that comes with an icemaker, which makes it a desirable option.

Frigidaire Counter Depth French Door Refrigerator

If you're looking for a French door refrigerator that won't cost a fortune and isn't expensive, this Frigidaire is a great choice. It's a basic design that isn't as striking visually as some of the competition but it does have enough features to make it a solid pick. In my tests, I discovered that the temperatures in the refrigerator were fairly consistent in various parts of the fridge. The temperatures in the top and bottom of the fridge didn't stray much from 38 degrees, and the middle of the fridge was within a degree of 36. This is a great performance however it doesn't rank among the best in our ratings.

This fridge has a few other neat features, including a temperature-monitoring display that alerts you to fluctuations and provides a forecast for the day ahead. You can also pair this fridge with a smart thermometer for more precise readings of your fridge's temperature.
